Register reinsurers

What can you find in this register?
In the case of reinsurance, the reinsurer takes over certain risks (such as the mortality risk) from an insurer or a pension fund. Reinsurance is essentially different from life insurance, non-life insurance and funeral expenses and benefits in-kind insurance because reinsurance is effected between professional parties. A reinsurer does not have any direct contractual relationship with the original policy holder (consumer) but solely with an insurer or pension fund. On account of this difference and in connection with the licensing requirement ensuing from the legislation, reinsurers are included separately in the register.
