What can you find in this register?
In this part of the register, you can search for banks and electronic money institutions. A bank invites repayable funds, beyond a restricted circle, from parties other than professional market operators, and grants credits for its own account. An electronic money institution invites funds in exchange for which it issues electronic money.
This register includes undertakings which have obtained a licence from DNB and foreign undertakings relying on the so-termed single European licence. In addition, the register includes undertakings which have been granted dispensation from the prohibitions under sections 3:5 and 3:7 of the Financial Supervision Act. For each undertaking, the register states what kind of business it is permitted to pursue.
